BIOGRAPHY
I was ordained as an Interfaith Minister by All Faiths Seminary International in New York City in 2007. I’ve had the honor of officiating for weddings, recommitment ceremonies, baby blessings, coming of age celebrations, house blessings and memorials. I welcome, respect and embrace all paths and traditions.
In 2009 I became a Certified Imago Educator. Imago teaches couples conscious communication skills: moving them from reactivity to choice and back into connection and love. Many couples choose to have a session or two of Imago Education before their wedding as a way to clarify and deepen their marriage goals and develop skills for a stronger partnership.
I'm currently a chaplain for Hudson Valley Hospice. From 2012—2016 I was a chaplain intern at Vassar Brother’s Medical Center in Poughkeepsie NY where I completed four units of Clinical Pastoral Education focusing on ICU, CCU and the oncology floor.
I’m a NYS licensed Massage Therapist, Reiki Master and Certified Practitioner of Process Acupressure. Process Acupressure combines Process Oriented Psychotherapy and acupressure for a body, mind, soul centered experience. I’ve studied Shiatsu, Zero Balancing and deep tissue massage.
In 2004 I developed Transforming Your Surgery—using Process Acupressure, Reiki and imagery to help transform medical procedures into a positive healing experience. This body of work aids my clients in making clear decisions about their medical processes and also helps them reframe fear and worry into something more useful and productive. Combining spirit and psychology with medical procedures can result in a powerful healing experience.
I also work one-on-one with clients using Interface Healing, which I created in 2001. Interface Healing is a hands-on energy healing technique that brings the physical, emotional, energetic and spiritual bodies into balance. I’ve found that this work is beneficial for both chronic conditions and the support of a balanced healthy life.
